DR. E. D. SPEAR, So much Celebrated for his Remarkable Cures,

897 Washington St., Boston.

A SKILFUL PHYSICIAN .- We shall perhaps convey no fresh information to the reader when we state that Dr. E. D. SPEAR, No. 897 Washington.St., is one of the most skilful phy- sicians in our city. He has been in active practice for many years, and this includes every variety of disease. He has been particularly successful when other physicians have seemd to fail. All who desire to procure the services of a physician who can be relied upon, should call on Dr. SPEAR .- Congregationalist.

THE testimony of many persons who seemed fit tenants for the grave, and who now happily enjoy the best of health, is proof sufficient of the great efficacy of the medicines and treat- ment of Dr. E. D. SPEAR, so much celebrated, for his remarkable cures. Success has attended the efforts of Dr. SPEAR in a won- derful degree ; and astonishing cures are related, the proofs of which are now living, and will be only too happy to testify in behalfof the doctor's skilful treatment .- Watchman & Reflector.

THE advertisement in another column is worthy the attention of the afflicted, in view of the proofs there given of the efficacy of the Remedies of Dr. SPEAR, in cases of bleeding at the lungs and other consumptive symptoms. The names of parties are given, some of them accessible to inquirers by reason of their residence in our midst. The office of Dr. SPEAR is at 897 Wash- ington st., not far from the head of Pleasant .- Eve. Traveller.

WE have received several letters in regard to the statement published in the Globe of May 26th, headed "Health and Vigor." We can perhaps best answer them collectively by saying that the publisher of the Globe sent a reporter to visit the several parties named, at their homes. Their statements, which were freely given, were without exaggeration, and we published the same. The reports we have every reason to believe to be true. Mr. John Ward, of 787 Sixth St., Chas. W. Doe of Marblehead, Wm. J. Jeffrey of North Reading, and the Rev. E. H. McKenney, late of Lynn, now of Melrose, were each and all thought by their physicians and friends to be at death's portal, utterly beyond human skill. They expressed themselves with great emphasis that Dr. SPEAR saved them, and the testimony they gave was so clear that it cannot fail to remove the prejudice which may exist in some minds against Dr. SPEAR, solely on the pretext that he is an advertising doctor .- Boston Daily Globe.

DR. SPEAR may be Consulted on ALL Diseases Free of Charge.
