THE following very imperfect list is made mainly from the town treasurer's account. A thorough exam- ination of the records at the State House, Boston, would no doubt add largely to it. Some of the names, it will be noticed, are not those of recognized Weymouth ori- gin, and the men were evidently strangers, enlisted by the town to fill its various quotas, as was the case in the Rebellion of 1861-5; but the proportion is not large.
