General Hospital and of the Provident Inst. for Savings. President of Board of Trustees of Mass. Agricultural Society. Trustee of the Roxbury Latin School. A sup- porter of the Boston Athenaeum. First in the country to establish a greenhouse on an ample scale and on scientific principles.
