The "Trustees of the Lowell Textile School" are Incorporated under a special act of the Massachusetts Legislature, for the purpose of estab- lishing and maintaining a Textile School for instruction In the theory and practical art of textile and kindred branches of industry.
Instruction is given in cotton, woolen and worsted manufacturing, including decorative art, textile design, chemistry and dyeing, textile engineering, including mechanical and electrical; also in commercial languages. The courses are open to both men and women. Applications for admission must be made not later than September 15th of each year. Catalogues may be had from the Secretary on application.
