North Adams

Situated in Northwestern Massachusetts, near the boundary lines of Vermont and New York states, is the commercial and manufacturing metropolis of a large ter- ritory, lying in the three states. A good city for business and residence.

Ideal city government, most excellent schools, clean well-paved streets, large and up-to-date stores, good theaters, many wholesale houses.

Manufacturing

North Adams is fortunate in having a diversified line of industries and on a scale seldom found in a city of this size. Notable among the large concerns is the Arnold Print Works, Windsor Print Works, Hoosac Cotton Mills, who are now building an $800,000 addition to their al- ready large plant; Geo. E. Keith Co's new shoe manu- facturing plant built to accommodate 1000 workmen is in operation. There are many other large concerns employ- ing from 200 to 500 hands.

Shipping Facilities

Abundant railroad facilities with two routes to Boston, three to New York city, two to the west and two to Canada. First-class trolley service, with many fast suburban lines bringing into close touch the surrounding territory.

Inducements to Manufacturers

An energetic Merchants Association stands ready to assist any worthy enterprise to locate in this city.

A few months with us will increase the earning capacity of your son or daught'r
