An examination of these tables shows that we have paid $42.71 more for the instruction of each pupil in the High School than in 1956, and $.86 less per pupil for supplies.


The elementary schools have cost $23.43 more per pupil for instruction, and $1.52 more for supplies.


The amount yielded for each child in the average mem- bership of the schools for 1957 not including the vocational schools, was $301.33.
