TO LYMAN M. STANLEY, ONE OF THE CONSTABLES OF THE TOWN OF ATTLEBOROUGH, GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the legal voters in the Town of Attle- borough, to meet in Agricultural Hall, in said Attleborough, on MONDAY, March 17th, 1879, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the following articles, to wit :
1st. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting.
2d. To consider and act upon the reports of the Selectmen, Treasu- urer, and other Town Officers.
3d. To determine the number that shall constitute the Board of Selectmen, Assessors, School Committee, and Constables for the ensuing year.
4th. To see if the Town will accept of the provisions of Chapter 255 of the Acts of the year 1878, relative to the election of Selectmen and Assessors.
5th. To bring in their votes for Town Clerk, Selectmen, Assessors, one Overseer of the Poor, Treasurer and School Committee, all on one ballot.
6th. To see if the town will revoke the vote whereby Chapter 158 of the Acts of the year 1871 was adopted, and abolish the Board of Road Commissioners, agreeably to a petition.
7th. To bring in their votes for one Road Commissioner, and Cons- tables, on one ballot.
8th. To choose all other Town Officers.
9th. To see if the Town will accept of the Jury-list as revised by the Selectmen.
10th. To see if the Town will instruet the Prudential Committees of the School Districts to contract with Teachers.
11th. To determine the salaries and compensation of Town Officers.
12th. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer to borrow money in anticipation of receipts from the Collectors.

13th. To see what disposition the town will make of the Dog Fund reported in the hands of the Treasurer.
14th. To see if the Town will raise money by assessment or other- wise to pay State Aid, in anticipation of reimbursement by the State, as provided by the Statutes.
15th. To see if the Town will instruct the Selectmen to contract with one or more physicians to attend the town poor for the ensuing year.
16th. To see if the Town will vote to abolish the School Districts.
17th. To see what aetion the Town will take in relation to a suit brought by John Welch, for damages on account of alleged injuries sus- tained on the highway.
18th. To see if the Town will vote to set George A. Chace, together with his poll and estate, from School District No. 1, into School District No. 4, agreeably to a petition.
19thı. To see if the Town will accept of the street beginning at the village of Deantown, running Southerly to West street, as laid out by the Road Commissioners, agreeably to a petition.
20tlı. To see if the Town will accept of that portion of Dunham street, beginning at Pine street, running Easterly about 500 feet, as laid out by the Road Commissioners, agreeably to a petition.
21st. To see if the Town will accept of the location of the terminus of County street sewer, as laid out by the Road Commissioners.
'22d. To see if the Town will accept of the re-location of High street, commencing at the junction of said street, with the Arnold Road-so called-running Westerly to the residence of D. Sanford Hall, as laid out by the. Road Commissioners, agreeably to a petition.
23d. To see if the Town will take from the table, the lay out of Division street, as laid out by the Road Commissioners, which was laid on the table as the last Annual Town meeting, agreeably to a petition.
24th. To see if the Town will discontinue a town foot way leading from High street to Mill Road, Falls village, agreeably to a petition.
25th. To see what aetion the Town will take in relation to the claim of A. C. Hawes, for damages on account of the lay out of Wrenthanı Road.
26tlı. To see what aetion the town will take relative to a conditional claim for damages sustained on account of an alleged defect in the High- way, by J. Herbert Stanley and Barton I. Draper.
27th. To see how much money, if any, the town will appropriate to ·be expended by G. A. R. Post, No. 145, in decorating the graves of the Soldiers and Sailors of the Republic, buried within the limits of the town.

28th. To see if the Town will erect a drinking fountain for man and beast, at the Junction of Park, North and South Main streets, agreeably to a petition.
29th. To see if the Town will vote to repair the old "Powder House," near the First Congregational Church, West Attleboro', and appropriate the necessary funds.
30th. To see if the Town will employ one or more physicians, to sign certificates of the cause of death as provided in Chaper 174, of the Acts of 1878.
31st. To determine how much the Town will appropriate for Common or District Schools, and how the same shall be divided and apportioned to the several districts.
32d. To see liow much the Town will appropriate for the High Schools.
33d. To see how much the Town will appropriate for the support of Paupers.
34tlı. To see how much the Town will appropriate for Highways and Bridges.
35th. To see how much the Town will appropriate for current and incidental expenses.
36th. To see how much the Town will appropriate, if anything, to reduce the Town debt.
37th. To see what discount, if any, the Town will make for the prompt payment of taxes.
38th. To determine how much the Town will raise by taxation to meet the appropriations, defray the annual expenses, and pay the State and County taxes.
And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting up attested copies thereof, at the several Post-offices, and in at least ten of the prin- cipal stores in said Town, at least seven days before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to us at or before the time of said meeting.
