Art. 23. To see if the Town will instruct the Board of Engineers to appoint one or more additional permanent men, and make an appropriation therefor.

Art. 31. To see what bonds the Town will vote to is- sue under the authority of Massachusetts Acts of 1910, Chapter 468, to be denominated "Town of Attleborough Loan, Act of 1910."


Art. 32. To see what pipe the Town will authorize the Water Commissioners to lay during the ensuing year and under what terms and conditions.

To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to appoint a Town Accountant in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 624 of the Acts of the General Court for the year1910; and to see what salary the Town will vote for such officer, and what appropri- ation shall be made therefor.

Art. 40. To see what sum the Town will appropriate for insurance of Town buildings, or do anything in rela- tión thereto.


Art. 41. To determine when taxes become due and payable and what rate of interest the Town will charge on taxes remaining unpaid.


Art. 42. To see if the Town will authorize the Collec- tor of Taxes to use all means of collecting taxes which a Town Treasurer may use when appointed a collector.


Art. 43. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow during the municipal year, beginning Jan. Ist, 1911, in anticipation of the collection of taxes of said year, such sums of money as may be necessary for the current expenses of the Town, but not exceeding the total tax levy of said year, giving the notes of the Town therefor, payable within one year from date thereof. All debts incurred under authority of this vote shall be paid from the taxes of the present municipal year.


Art. 44. To see what debts the Town will vote to in- cur under the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Revised Laws.


Art. 45. To see what appropriation the Town will make for curbing of sidewalks under the Betterment Act.


Art. 46. To see what appropriation the Town will make for the construction of new concrete walks under the Betterment Act.

Art. 52. To see if the Town will vote to accept the layout of Jewell avenue as a Town way, as made by the Selectmen, extending from County street westerly to Hawthorne street, and make an appropriation therefor, agreeable to a petition.


Art. 53. To see if the Town will vote to accept the layout of Fisher street as a Town way, as made by the Selectmen, extending from the land of Ernest Cameron to Thacher street and thence to Summer street, and make an appropriation therefor, agreeable to a petition.


Art. 54. To see if the Town will vote to repair Bene- fit street and build a suitable sidewalk to Holden street, and make an appropriation therefor, agreeable to a peti- tion.

Art. 57. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $500 for the purpose of widening County street from Thacher to Tiffany street, in accordance with the accepted layout, agreeable to a petition.


Art. 58. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Section 364, Chapter 560, of the Acts of 1907, relative to the election of a highway surveyor and provide a way to get an expression as to the amount of compensation which should be paid such official, or take any other action thereon, agreeable to a petition.


Art. 59. To see what sum the Town will appropriate for the current and incidental expenses of the Board of Health.


Art. 60. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $1,000 to be used at Capron Park in addition to the regular appropriation of $2,000, as recommended by the Park Commissioners.


Art. 61. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $500 to be expended on Finberg Playground at the corner of Bishop and Park streets, as recom- mended by the Selectmen.


Art. 62. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $50 for the use of Maj. H. A. Clark Camp, Spanish War Veterans, to be devoted to the decoration of graves of soldiers and sailors who served in the United States Army and Navy during the war with Spain, or do anything in relation thereto, agreeable to a petition.


Art. 63. To see if the Town will vote to instruct its Committee on Sewerage to apply to the General Court for an amendment of Section 17 of Chapter 158 of the Acts of 1909, so as to authorize the Town to carry on the construction of its system of sewerage by its committee for the period of one year beyond the limitation con- tained in said section.

Art. 64. To see if the Town will vote to instruct its Committee on Sewerage to take any action to procure authority for the Town to incur an additional indebted- ness for the purposes set forth in Chapter 157 of the Acts of the General Court of 1909 and beyond the limitations set forth in said Act, or do anything in relation thereto.


Art. 65. To see whether the Town will issue addi- tional bonds to an amount not exceeding $100,000, under the provisions of Chapter 157 of the Acts of the General Court of the year 1909 and for the purposes therein stated, to be denominated "Attleborough Sewerage Loan, Act of 1909," and to determine the dating, denomination and other particulars of said bonds.


Art. 66. To see what sum the Town will appropriate for the observance of Fourth of July.


The polls for the election of officers will be open at 6 o'clock in the forenoon and may be closed at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and you are directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies in at least five public places in each precinct of said Town, at least seven days before the time of said meeting.


Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at or before the time of said meeting. Both of said days will consti- tute the annual Town meeting, and this call is issued in accordance with a vote of the Town passed October 29, 1909.
