The proprietors of the Library of the Second havish in Lynn met at the school house. Ist. Mr Thomas Hitchings was chosen moderator.
2). a committee was chosen to make a selection of such books for the Library as they should think prop er. This committee consisted of five persons, viz. Wm. Frothingham. Samuel Corp. Richard Thute. Thomas Hitchings. Capit. Richard Mannsfiets.
3. The same committee was chosen to make a code of laws for the regulation of the Library. Loth. It was agreed to give to Wm. Frothingham a share in the Library.

l'oted, that after a book case shall be procure any proprietor may take out three volumes in
the course of the quarter, all at once, or at three several times as he pleases; but he must not return either of them until the Saturday preceding the quarterly meeting of the trustees, when he must veturn them all.
Voted, That the above amendment be recorded of that the original clause in the constitution appertain. ins to this subject be erased.
