The law permits the delivery by mail of letters bearing only the Special Delivery Stamp, but the or- dinary postage due will be collected of the addressee ou delivery. The hours within which Special Delivery shall be made in Free Delivery Post offices, are from 7 a. m. to 11 p. in. unless in special cases otherwise ordered by the Postmaster- General. At other post offices the hours are at least from 7 a. m. to 7 p. m. and to the arrival of the last mail, not later than 9 o'clock p. m.

Parcels may be sent by mail accom- panied by a Customs Declaration to the following countries

Chile, Colombia U S of, Costa Rica, Danish West Indies, Ger- inany, Guiana British, Guatemala, Honduras British and Republic of, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Japan, Lee- ward Islands, Mexico, Niearagua, Newfoundland, New Zealand, Norway, Salvador, Australia, Belgium, Turks Island, Trinidad, Tobago, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ire- land, Venezuela, Windward Islands.
Rate for one pound or less and each additional pound or fraction 12 cents except to Bolivia and Chile to which rate is 20 cents.
An additional charge of 5 cents or its equivalent is made on the delivery of each package by parcels post from British Guiana, the Windward Is- lands, Newfoundland, Trinidad, Chile, Germany, Guatemala, Niearagua, Newzealand. Venezuela, Bolivia, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Belgium, and Great Britain and Ireland.
From other parcels post countries the delivery charge is 5 cents when the package does not excecd 1 pound in weight, and 1 cent for each 4 ounces or fraction thereof, when it is in excess of 1 pound in weight.
Limit of weight is eleven pounds
Limit of size is 3 ft. € in. long and 6 ft. length and girth combined except to U. S. of Columbia, Costa Rica and Mexico to which the limit of length is 2 ft. and girth 4 ft.
Value limited for Australia, Bcl gium, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan and Nor- way to $50.00.
Any person wishing to withdraw a letter after having mailed it should make immediate application to the postmaster, and in case the letter has not been forwarded it will be re- turned. If the letter has been for- warded, he can request the postmas- ter to telegraph the postmaster at the office to which the letter is ad- dressed to return the same, the owner of letter paying charges for tele- graphing.
