NITROUS OXYD ..

The increasing demand as a preventative of all pain in extracting teeth under the influence of

Nitrous Oxyd Gas,

has made it necessary for the undersigned to enlarge his apparatus for its manufact ire; and for the future, patients will not be obliged to wait (excepting only as their turn may come). and this delay may be avoided by previous engagements. The Gas is now prepared three times daily, thus guaranteeing freshness and purity.

IT IS RECOMMENDED IN PREFERENCE TO ETHER OR CHLOROFORM,

FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS :

1st. Under ALL circumstances it is perfectly safe.

2d. From one to twenty Teeth can be extracted at ONE inhalation, the entire operation lasting not over three minutes, without the least pain to the patient.

3d. It never causes sickness at the stomach.

4th. It leaves the patient with no lassitude or debilitating feelings.

5th. It is not disagreeable to inhale.

The following extract from a note received by Dr. D., is submitted : " I have examined the apparatus, mixtures and processes for prepara- tion of Nitrous Oxyd Gas, and find the apparatus of the most approved kind, the mixtures pure, and the Gas free from all deleterous mixtures. CHAS. T. JACKSON, M. D., State Assayer."
