FIRE AND WATER PROOF CEMENT, For the Preservation of Wooden Buildings.
THE Subscriber informs his friends and the public, that he has invented a Composition for the preservation of Wood against Fire. It is partieu- larly calculated for the roofs and sides of Wooden Buildings. It expels the moisture, and renders the wood completely incombustible. It also renders it incapable of accumulating moss. It will bring shingles and clapboards flat that have become warped. It is applied hot, and when it becomes cold, it is as hard as any cement whatever. It is better calculated for old buildings than for new ones, as they consume more of the Composition. It has been applied to a large number of buildings
