Beginning at a point in Merrimac river on a line with the middle of the Merrimac canal ; - thence southerly along the middle of said canal to the Pawtucket canal ; thence westerly along said Pawtucket canal to the mouth of the Western canal ; thence northwardly along the middle of said Western canal to Merrimac river; thence easterly down said river to the point of beginning.
