TO THE SELECTMEN OF THE TOWN OF DOUGLAS


Gentlemen :- The subscribers, bridge viewers, chosen March 1, 1875, respectfully make the following report : That they have viewed the following named bridges and verbally reported their condition at the time. The bridge on Manchaug St. needed five stringers and planking; bridge across the river on Gilboa St. needed planking, also the trench on said St. needed new sills, stringers and planking ; bridge on Hemlock St. needed sills, stringers and plank ; bridge on Cedar St. needed sills, stringers and plank ; bridge on Cook St., across the trench, needed string- ers and plank ; the bridge on West St. some rotten, will need repairing in a year or two ; bridge on Webster St. will need re- pairing the coming year. We would reccommend that your honors insert an article in the March meeting warrant, looking towards building a bridge across the river on Cook St.


The amount of repairs reccommended by us, on bridges and culverts, $556.82.
