The dugouts were painted and drains were installed to carry off the surface water that runs in. We are now able to keep them dry.

A new 30 foot flagpole and flag were given to the playground and installed in the center field of the Little League Field. The pole and flag were given in Memory of Mr. & Mrs. Albert B. and Susan B. Smith of Merrimac by their children, Mrs. Donna Petzold, Mr. William P. B. Smith, Mr. J. R. Smith, Mrs. Helen Williams, Mr. Merrill B. Smith, and Mr. Albert B. Smith, Jr.

Supervised Play was run under the Care of Mr. William Whiting, Jr. with a very good turnout. The Lions Club furnished the equipment and at the end of the season furnished buses to take the children to Salisbury Beach State Park for a days outing. The children took a lunch and the Lions furnished the tonic to go with it.

Respectfully submitted,
