Article 74. To see if the town will raise and appropriate money for the construction of new sewers and catch basins as fol- lows: (a) Sewer and catch basins in South Main Street in the Depot Village from a manhole opposite Strong Street running southeasterly 1425 feet; (b) Sewer and catch basins in High Street in the village of Thorndike, from the intersection of High Street and Center Street to the property of Albert Kapinos; (c) Sewer and catch basins in High Street in the village of Thorn- dike from a point near the residence of Cantwell to Commercial Street; (d) Completion of sewer and catch basins in High Street in the village of Thorndike from a point near the residence of John Cantwell and running easterly to the junction of Church and Center Streets; (e) Sewer and catch basins in Green Street in the Depot Village from North Main Street to residence of Tup- per; (f) Sewer and catch basins in Wright Street in the Depot Village from North Main Street easterly a distance of approxi- mately 1200 feet.
Article 75. To see if the town will vote to install and main- tain additional street lights as follows: (a) The required number of lights on the new bridge in the village of Three Rivers; (b) One light near residence of Kapinos on High Street in the village of Thorndike; (c) Ten lights on Old Warren Road between Town Infirmary and residence of Nelson St. John; (d) Lights on Bridge Street in the Depot Village at and near railroad underpass; (e) Light at 82 Belchertown Road in the village of Three Rivers; (f) Light near center of Hobbs Street in the village of Thorndike; (g) Light at intersection of Sykes and Bourne Streets in the village of Three Rivers; (h) Light on Griffin Street in the village of Bondsville between residence of Pisha and Holcomb; (i) Light on High Street in the village of Thorndike near residence of Joseph Bogacz; (j) Light on Main Street in the Depot Village in front of Butts Clothing Company; (k) Lights as may be necessary on Brainerd, Winthrop and Cabot Streets in the Depot Village; (1) Lights as may be necessary on Wright Street in the Depot Vil- lage from North Main Street along and to the planned site of the Wing Memorial Hospital.
Article 76. To see if the town will vote to improve Wright Street in the Depot Village from North Main Street easterly a distance of approximately 1300 feet, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefore.

Cole.
Article 78. To see if the town will vote to improve Chudy Street in the village of Three Rivers from Barker Street west- erly a distance of approximately 640 feet, and raise and appro- priate any sum of money therefore.

To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the Depot Village, as shown on plan entitled "Plan Show- ing Layout of Wright Street (Extension), Depot Village, Palmer, Massachusetts", dated November 1949, prepared by T. D. Crim- mins, C. E., as laid out by the selectmen according to the follow- ing description: Beginning at a concrete bound in the southeast- erly corner of Wright Street as shown on said plan; thence run- ning N 23° 19' W fifty-one and 88/100 (51.88) feet to a bound;

E., as laid out by the se- lectmen according to the following description: Beginning at a point in the easterly line of Main Street, said point being N 43º 25' E one hundred thirty-nine and 93/100 (139.93) feet from a stone bound in an angle of said Main Street; thence turning and running S 46° 35' E one hundred fourteen and 30/100 (114.30) feet to a point; thence running S 59° 08' E eighty-two and 65/100 (82.65) feet to a point; thence running S 69° 01' E one hundred eighty-seven (187) feet to a concrete bound in the westerly line of High Street; thence turning and running N 22° 30' E forty and 01/100 (40.01) feet to a point; thence turning and running N 69° 01' W one hundred eighty-four and 60/100 (184.60) feet to a point; thence running N 59° 08' W one hundred twenty-four and 89/100 (124.89) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 43° 25' W five and 12/100 (5.12) feet to a point; thence turn- ing and running N 46° 35' W sixty-one (61) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 43º 25' W along said Main Street twenty-four (24) feet to the point of beginning; said street is to be known as Center Street.

E., as laid out by the selectmen according to the following description: Beginning at a concrete bound in the northerly line of Center Street as shown on said plan; thence running N 22° 30' E three hundred seventy-six and 73/100 (376.73) feet to a concrete bound in the

southerly line of Maple Street; thence turning and running S 61° 50' E along the southerly line of Maple Street twenty-five and 12/100 (25.12) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 22° 30' W three hundred seventy-three and 60/100 (373.60) feet to a point in the northerly line of Center Street as shown on said plan; thence turning and running N 69° 01' W twenty-five and 01/100 (25.01) feet to the place of beginning; said street to be known as Cross Street.

E., as laid out by the selectmen according to the following description: Beginning at a concrete bound in the northerly line of Shearer Street; thence running N 19º 52' W eight hundred fifty-one and 03/100 (851.03) feet to a concrete bound; thence running N 7º 29' W two hundred eighty-two and 40/100 (282.40) feet to a stone bound; thence running N 7° 51' W two hundred ninety (290) feet to a concrete bound; thence turning and running N 82° 09' E along Wright Street, as shown on said plan, fifty (50) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 7º 51' E two hundred ninety and

E., as laid out by the selectmen according to the following description: Beginning at a concrete bound in the easterly line of North Main Street; thence running N 70° 08' E six hundred fifty-two and 87/100 (652.87) feet to a concrete bound; thence turning and running

N 19º 52' W along Fairview Street, as shown on said plan, fifty (50) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 70° 08' W six hundred forty-two and 30/100 (642.30) feet to a point; thence turning and running S 7º 55' E along the easterly line of North Main Street fifty-one and 10/100 (51.10) feet to the point of beginning; said street is to be known as Taft Street.
Article 84. To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the village of Three Rivers, of Palmer, as shown on plan entitled "Town of Palmer Layout Plan of Chudy Street, in the Village of Three Rivers", dated January 7, 1948, prepared by R. O. & G. F. Dingman, Engineers and Surveyors, as laid out by the selectmen according to the following description: Begin- ning at a concrete bound in the westerly side line of Barker Street at the southeasterly corner of land of Michael F. and Rose M. Mowduk, said bound being one hundred ninety-one and 80/100 (191.80) feet southerly from a concrete bound at the northerly end of a curve in the westerly side line of Belchertown Road; and running thence S 8° 14' W fifty and 04/100 (50.04) feet along said westerly side of Barker Street to a concrete bound at other land of Frank Chudy; thence turning and running N 83º 58' W one hundred seventy-four and 26/100 (174.26) feet along said Chudy land to a point; thence turning and running' N 80° 39' W four hundred sixty-three and 39/100 (463.39) feet along said Chudy land to a concrete bound at land of M. D. and S. P. Kokoszka; thence turning and running N 1º 39' W fifty and 94/100 (50.94) feet along said Kokoszka land to a concrete bound at other land of Frank Chudy; thence turning and running S 80° 39' E four hundred seventy-one and 66/100 (471.66) feet along said Chudy land to a concrete bound at land of Michael F. and Rose M. Mowduk; thence turning and running S 83º 58' E one hundred seventy-four and 73/100 (174.73) feet along said Mowduk land to the point of beginning. The area comprised by the street as above described is 32,102 square feet. Bearings used in the above description indicate the angular relation of the various courses and are related to the 1927 Layout of Belchertown Road. Said street is to be known as Chudy Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to Frank Chudy.

And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by post- ing up attested copies thereof in some one public place in each of the four villages of the town, known as the Depot Village, Thorn- dike, Three Rivers, and Bondsville, seven days at least before the holding of said meeting and by publishing an attested copy there- of in at least two issues of the Journal-Register, a newspaper published in said Palmer, the first publication to be not less than seven days before the holding of said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at or before the holding of said meeting.
