Partial Report of Committee on Fire Department.
The appropriation of eight thousand dollars ($8000), made by the town and raised by taxation during the past year, for the purpose of equipping the Fire Department, has been drawn from the treasury, and placed at the disposal of the Committee having that matter in charge. This Committee, not having fully completed their labors, can only make a partial report ; but we have their assurance that the appropriation is amply sufficient for the purpose, and that they will be able to report in full to the town at the adjournment of the annual meeting.
A partial report, showing the progress of the work, we submit at this time.
