ARTICLE 51. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the taking, widening and construction of the northeast corner of the intersection of Mill Lane and Commercial Street, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That the Town accept the layout of the Selectmen for widening and relocation of Mill Lane and that there be raised and appropriated the sum of $2,027.00 for the purpose of widening and construction of same. Said sum to be expended by the Highway De- partment and that the purchase or taking of land required therefor and the payment of $1.00 for said purchase or taking, the same to be paid from any land damage appropriation, are hereby authorized.
ARTICLE 52. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the taking, widening and construction of the corner of Faulkner Place and Washington Street, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That the Town accept the layout of the Selectmen for the widening and relocation of corner of Faulkner Place and that there be raised and appropriated the sum of $205.00 for the purpose of widening and construction of same. ARTICLE 54. ON PETITION. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the construction of a drain on property between Stonewood Lane and Birchcroft Road, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted That there be raised and appropriated the sum of $662.50 for the purpose of constructing a drain on property between Stone- wood Lane and Birchcroft Road, said sum to be expended under the direction of the Highway Department.
ARTICLE 55. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the construction of Hancock Street, or take any action relative thereto .- No action.
ARTICLE 56. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the construction of Pearl Street, or take any action relative thereto .-- No action.
ARTICLE 57. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the construction of a retaining wall on the easterly side of Ferncroft Road for a distance of approximately 80 feet from Glenrose Avenue, or take any action relative thereto .- No action.
ARTICLE 58. To see if the Town will vote to abandon a por- tion of land on Grove Street, Braintree, between the Old Line and the New State Line, easterly from the present State Highway Layout of 1929, containing approximately 12,100 square feet, as shown on "Plan of a Portion of Grove Street, Braintree, Massachusetts show- ing Old Line and New State Line-January 1952-John J. Drink- water, Town Engineer"; and to see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to sell said portion of land, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That the abandonment of the Town's easement or right of way for highway purposes over the premises described in Article 58 of the Annual Warrant upon payment by each abutting owner on said strip of the minimum amount of $1.00 is hereby authorized.
ARTICLE 59. To see if the Town will vote to accept following streets, or any of them, constructed by the Braintree Housing Auth- ority: Olofsson, Drake and Mann Streets, located off Wildwood Ave- nue, Braintree Highlands; Pantano and Erickson Streets, located off Commercial Street, East Braintree.
Voted: That the following streets, constructed by the Braintree Housing Authority, be accepted as and for Town Ways: Olofsson Street, Drake Street, Mann Street, Pantano Street and Erickson Street.
ARTICLE 60. To see what sums of money the Town will "ote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for re-grading, loaming and seeding grass plots in front of the Town Hall, or take any action relative thereto .- No action.

ARTICLE 61. To see what sums of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds to meet the payment of certain bills contracted prior to January 1, 1952, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That there be raised and appropriated the sum of $190.50 to meet the payment of certain unpaid bills prior to January 1, 1952:
Health Department-Braintree Visiting Nurse Association $34.50. School Department-Arthur L. Ross $156.00.
ARTICLE 62. To see what sums of money, in addition to that appropriated under any other article, the Town will vote to raise or borrow and appropriate for Land Damages .- No action necessary.
ARTICLE 63. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to appropriate for the purpose of the Stabilization Fund under the authority of Section 5B of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, or take any action relative thereto .- No action.
ARTICLE 64. To see if the Town will vote to use all or part of the Post-War Rehabilitation Fund established under the authority of Section 1 of Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1943 to meet appropriations voted under any of the articles of this warrant for any purpose per- mitted by said Chapter 5 .- No action necessary.
ARTICLE 65. To see what disposition the Town will vote to make of the income of the Thayer Fund .- No action necessary.
ARTICLE 66. ON PETITION. To see if the Town will vote to accept as and for a Town Way, Randall Avenue, as laid out by the Selectmen and to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the improvement of same, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That Randall Avenue, layout of which was approved by the Planning Board February 18, 1952, in accordance with Chapter 41, General Laws Section 81 A-Y, said approved plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, be accepted as and for a Town Way and that the sum of $1,189.20 be raised and appropriated for the improve- ment of same and that betterments be assessed to the extent of 66 2/3% of the cost of said improvement.
ARTICLE 67. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for the con- struction of a sidewalk on the south side of Lakeview Avenue from Franklin to Tremont Street, or take any action relative thereto .- No action.
ARTICLE 68. To see if the Town will, vote to accept Section 194 of Chapter 140, General Laws providing for the licensing of the business of renting boats .- So voted.
ARTICLE 69. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article XII of its By-Laws by adding a new section to read as follows:
"Section 2. No person shall carry on the business of renting boats or bathing suits, for use upon or in so much of the waters of any great pond as is situated within the town, without first obtaining license so to do from the Selectmen upon such conditions as they may impose."-So voted.

ARTICLE 70. To see if the Town will authorize the sale or exchange of land on Liberty Street being Plots 6 and 6-A on Assessors' Plan 1083 containing about 3,500 and 5,500 square feet of land re- spectively and the sale or exchange of the Town's land on the Easterly side of said Liberty Street formerly used as the Town gravel pit and rock quarry or any of said lands and by vote establish the consideration therefor, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That the Selectmen be authorized to sell at public auction for a total price of not less than $330.00 the property designated as Plot 6A on Assessors Plan 1083.
ARTICLE 71. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to sell and convey to Nora Spillane or her successors a parcel of land on Faxon Street which was taken from said Spillane pursuant to a vote of the Annual Meeting of 1926 and specify the minimum amount to be paid for such conveyance, or take any action relative thereto.
Voted: That the Selectmen be authorized to sell and convey to Nora Spillane all right and title acquired by the Town in and to a parcel of land on Faxon Street by an order of taking dated September . 13, 1926, and recorded with Norfolk Deeds book 1713 page 415, pur -. suant to vote under Article 104 of the Annual Meeting for 1926, for the sum of one dollar, upon receiving a full release from Nora Spillane of any claims against the Town.
