The Total Solids and the Fats were determined on five hundred sixty-five samples of milk; and the Fats on twelve samples of cream. Two hundred sixty-two samples of milk were examined for the bacterial content; the Sediment was determined on two hundred forty-two samples of milk seized from dealers. Two hundred forty-one samples of milk from Producers were tested for Total Solids and Fats, and four hundred sixty-one samples for the bacterial content, one hundred thirty- six for sediment.


Seventy-four and eight-nine hundreth per cent of the milk is sold at retail; Twenty-five and eleven hundreth at wholesale.
