IPSWICH TOWN REPORT

TOWN CLERK'S REPORT.

Ipswich, January 24th, 19)3.

To the Selectmen of Ipswich,

Gentlemen :-

I submit my report of the doings of the office of the Town Clerk, for the year 1912.

I have caused three volumes of the old Records to be repaired and properly bound, and have examined those of more recent date, those that require some work done to prevent them from becoming unfit for use, and find that the work can be done at a trifling cost, I do not recommend any appropriation as I do not think the need for the work is so pressing that any is needed, those I may have to repair can be done at a very trifling sum, and can be done from the expense account of the Office.

During the past year the Vault used by the Clerk and Treasurer has been furnished with the steel fittings and is now in first class condition, insuring greater protection against loss, and at the same time giving more room for the books and papers required for every-day use.
