During the year we submitted a proposition to the town that, if accepted, we would furnish a lot on North Main Street, known as the Drew lot, the value of which should be determined by the Board of Trustees and your Honorable Board, on which would be erected a new fire station; and also agreed to furnish out of the income the sum of Forty Thousand ($40,000.00) Dollars towards paying for the same, loaning the town from our principal fund the amount neces- sary to be paid over and above our accrued income, set aside for that purpose, said principal sum loaned the town to be reimbursed from the income as earned.
Respectfully submitted,
CHESTER E. WESTON GEORGE W. STETSON ARTHUR D. BENSON Trustees under the will of Thomas S. Peirce.
