FLINT PUBLIC LIBRARY.
A storm door has been placed at the front entrance of the Library building and affords protection from storms and cold.
The following publications are to be found in the reading room : Weeklies-Youth's Companion, Life, Harper's, Scientific American, Woman's Journal and Good Roads. The last two have been furnished gratuitously by the publishers. Monthlies : Atlantic, Antiquarian, Century, New England Magazine, McClure's Magazine, Munsey's Magazine, Our Dumb Animals, 'St. Nicholas, Scribner's Magazine, Review of Reviews The Traveller's Record is sent gratuitously.

TOWN MEETING WARRANT.
Town Meeting Warrant.
Middleton, ss. To Oscar Cram, Constable for the Town of Middleton, in the County of Essex.
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Middleton qual- ified to vote in elections and in town affairs to meet at the Town Hall in said Town, on
Monday, the twelfth day of March, next, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the fol- lowing articles :
1st To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
2d To choose a Town Clerk for the ensuing year.
3d To choose all necessary Town Officers for the ensuing year.
4th To vote on the question : Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this Town? The vote will be by a separate ballot, and the ballot shall be Yes or No in answer to said question.
5th To see if the Town will have cut on the town lot what wood will be necessary for the ensuing year, and hauled to the lockup to be sawed and split by persons applying for a night's lodging, and determine how the wood, when sawed and split, shall be disposed of.
6th To see how much money the Town will raise to pay the tuition of the High school pupils.
7th To see how much money the Town will raise to defray town charges the ensuing year, and determine how the same shall be appropriated.
8th To see what action the Town will take in relation to dis- count and interest on taxes.
9th To act on the list of Jurors prepared and posted by the Selectmen.
10th To see what action the Town will take in regard to let- ting the Town Hall.
11th To see what action the Town will take in regard to en- forcement of law in regard to the sale of intoxicating liquors.
12th To see what action the Town will take concerning the cemetery.

TOWN MEETING WARRANT.
13th To see what action the Town will take for the preven- tion of fires, and in respect to compensation of firemen.
14th To see what measures the Town will adopt for the removal of snow from the sidewalks.
15th By a petition of H. K. Richardson and nine others to see if the Town will vote to supply the Center School Building with water or take any action thereon.
16th By a petition of A. A. Wilkins and nine others to see if the Town will vote to dispose of the North School Building or take any action thereon. Also to see if the Town will vote to dispose of the East School Building or take any action thereon.
17th By a petition of A. P. Bagley and nine others to see if the Town will vote to place Insurance on the Town Hall and Center School Building or take any action thereon.
18th To see how much money the Town will raise for the proper observance of Memorial day.
19th To see what method the Town will take to establish a Town Seal under the Act of 1899, Chap. 258, Section 2.
20th To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, under the direction of the Selectmen, to hire such sums of money as may be necessary to meet current expenses, in anticipation of taxes of the present year, and payable therefrom.
21st To see if the Town will authorize the Collector to use all means of collecting the taxes which a Town Treasurer when appointed may use.
22d To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer to hire money, as may be necessary, to meet current expenses.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies thereof, one at the Town Hall and one at the Centre Post Office and one at the Post Office in South Middleton in said Town, seven days, at least, before the time of holding said meeting. Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place of said meeting aforesaid.
