Parent education is given through the well-child con- ferences and pre-school examinations. At the well-child conference the mother is told that her child should begin going to the dentist as soon as he has twenty baby teeth. Due to the service of these conferences it is hoped that there will be a vast improvement in the mouths of those entering first grade.

ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS

The annual examinations were conducted by the school dentist. They found that a large majority of the pupils had had dental work done. This was especially notice- able in high school, probably due to improved economic conditions and the demand for sound teeth in the mili- tary services.
