Classes with pupils having from 75% to 100% dental defects corrected: Mt. Pleasant, all classes; 96% Oak Street, all classes; from 50% to 100%: Cornish, Hedge, Cold Spring, all classes; Manomet, 2 of 4 classes.


This year there is a noticeable increase of children having treatment by their Orthodontist.


The Fluoridation of the water supply as a general means of deterring dental decay among school children is now used in six communities and being installed in six others this year. Several more towns and cities have approved installation. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health urges communities to decide on fluoridation.
