Article 6. Article 7. To see what action the Town will take on requesting the Committee appointed relative to Elihu Thomson Estate to furnish a report of progress as well as information pertaining to total cost of the project completed to the Town Meeting Members on Tuesday, April 10, 1945, including cost of purchase, adaptation, construction, remodeling, renovating and equipping of the building, and the altera- tion and improvement of the grounds. Article 8. To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Select- men to rent, let or lease the whole or any parts of the present Town Hall for commercial purposes after the said present Town Hall ceases to be needed for its present public purposes, and to do all things necessary and incidental thereto; or to take any action relative thereto. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to amend its present by- law, being Chapter II-"B," Section 1, which provides that the annual Town Meeting shall be held on the third Monday in February in each year, to provide for the said annual Town Meeting to be held on the third Monday of March in each year. Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to rescind the vote passed on March 13, 1945, at the adjourned session of the annual Town Meeting of 1945, whereby the Town voted under Article 11 in the Warrant for said meeting as follows:

That the Town authorize the Old Age Assistance Bureau to ap- point one of its own members as agent and investigating officer and fix the salary of such appointee at $1645.00 and that the said $1645.00 be appropriated as follows: $1000.00 from the tax levy, $400.00 from the United States Grant Old Age Assistance Administration, $245.00 from the United States Grant Aid to Dependent Children.

The above by-laws were published, in accordance with Section 32 of Chapter 40, in the Lynn Daily Evening Item and Lynn Telegram News, June 12, 13 and 14, 1945.

1945 Perambulation of Bounds, Salem & Swampscott
Be it remembered that on the 8th. day of October 1945, we, the subscribers, on the part of the City of Salem and Town of Swamp- scott, met and perambulated the bounds, and ran the lines between said City and Town, and viewed the monuments and marks thereon, as follows, viz: Beginning at the bound marked L S S at the Corner of Lynn, Swampscott and Salem, standing against the northerly side of a wall 400 feet east of Western Avenue in Lynn, of Highland Avenue in Salem, thence running south 72°-10' east to a road stone on the easterly side of Danvers Street in Swampscott or Swampscott Road in Salem about 200 feet east of the main line tracks of the B & M R R; thence in the same direction to a witness bound on the southerly side of Loring Avenue about 1300 feet from Vinnin Square, said witness bound be buried under concrete road; thence along the southerly side of Vinnin Street to a bound marked M S S, at the corner of Marble- head, Salem and Swampscott, standing near a building on the south- erly side of the Old Lynn Road in Marblehead or Vinnin Street in Salem at a point 100 feet easterly from the junction of Salem Street with Vinnin Street.
