The town of Weymouth by its legal voters, in Town Meeting assembled, on Monday, the thirteenth day of March, 1911, desires to express its appreciation and gratitude to the Honorable Henry Cabot Lodge for his interest, efforts and services in behalf of an act of Congress granting an appropriation toward the con- struction of a new bridge over Weymouth Back River.
And the town expresses its regret as well as its sympathy for the circumstances which prevented the act, through no fault of his, from becoming a law.
The people of Weymouth, in Town Meeting assembled, on Monday, the thirteenth day of March, 1911, desire to express their appreciation and gratitude for the interest and efforts of

Voted, That the thanks of the town be extended to the Hon. Louis A. Cook for the very able and impartial manner in which he has conducted the business of this our annual town meeting as its Moderator.

3. Shall an act passed by the General Court in the year nineteen hundred and eleven, entitled " An act authorizing the counties of the Commonwealth to establish retirement systems for their employees," be accepted.
The polls will be opened at fifteen minutes before six o'clock in the forenoon and may be closed at one o'clock in the afternoon.
