After Mr. Reed had finished his remarks Col. Bauer spoke on the question and after speaking 10 minutes on the question, Mr. Matthais E. Doyle moved that Col. Bauer be given such time to finish his re- marks.
After Col. Bauer had finished Mr. Howard M. Dowd spoke on the question. After speaking 10 minutes on the question, Mr. Arthur R. Lohnes moved: That Mr. Dowd be given time to finish his remarks.
Mr. Alfred S. Tirrell moved the previous question. After quite a number of members had spoken on the question, the Moderator put the question "Shall the main question be now put before the meeting" and it was so voted.
. The Moderator explained the several motions in their order that the members might be enlightened how to vote on the motions.
The first question was on the substitute motion of Mr. Silvester's "That the Town Counsel proceed with the present litigation instead of a committee". This was declared not a vote. More than seven members having doubted the vote a recount was ordered. The tellers reported 50 voting in the affirmative and 105 voting in the negative. The motion was declared lost. ,
The amendment of Mr. Cunniff was then put before the meeting, "That the Town Counsel be added to the Committee". Mr. Melville F. Cate moved to amend "That the present Town Counsel be added". So voted. The amendment of Mr. Cunniff as amended by the amendment of Mr. Cate was then put before the meeting and it was so voted.
The motion of Mr. Cunniff "That a committee of five (5) be ap- pointed by the Moderator and that the present Town Counsel be added thereto be a committee to draft resolutions to the General Court for legislation to relieve Weymuoth of its membership in the South Metropolitan Sewerage District was then put before the meeting and it was so voted.
Mr. Melville F. Cate moved: That the present Town Counsel be - instructed to continue to prosecute in the Supreme Judicial Court until such time as a final disposition has been made of the case.
Mr. Matthais Doyle's amendment was then put before the meeting, "That the Committee be empowered to confer with the Counsel of the Edison Electric Illuminating Committee of Boston for aecom- plishment of this purpose" was put before the meeting asd was de- cared voted.

Voted: That the thanks of the Town be extended to the members of the Appropriation Committee for their able and comprehensive report of the several articles in the warrant for 1932.
Voted: That the thanks of the Town be extended to the Annual Moderator for his able and impartial manner in which he con- ducted the meetings of the Annual Town Meeting.

In the name of the Commonwealth yau are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town who are qualified to vote in Primaries to meet at the polling places of their respective precincts, to wit :
In Precincts 1, 3 and 5 in the Fire Engine Houses located in those precincts respectively ;
In Precinct 2 at G. A. R. Hall on Commercial Street ;
In Precinct 4 at the building of the Citizens' Association, Inc., on Front Street;
In Precinct 6 at the new Ward 2 Fire Engine House on the northerly side of Broad Street, which place has been duly designated as the polling place of Precinct 6 in accordance with Chapter 54 of the Gnral Laws;
In Precinct 7 at the Lovell's Corner Improvement Association build- ing on Washington Street;
In Precinct 8 at the Weymouth Heights Club building on North Street, on

WARRANT FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS

Norfolk, ss.
To the Constables of the Town of Weymouth in said County, Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid qualified to vote in Town aaffirs to meet in the hall of the Weymouth High School on
TUESDAY, THE SEVENTEENTH DAY OF MAY, 1932 at seven o'clock and forty-five minutes in the evening, then and there to act on the following articles, namely :
Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to rescind its action by which it voted under Article 2 at the Annual Town Meeting of March, 1932; that a Committee of five (5) be appointed by the Moderator and that the present Town Counsel be added thereto as a Committee to draft resolutions to the General Court for legis- lation to relieve Weymouth of its membership in the South Metro- politan Sewerage District; and wherein they voted; that the present Town Counsel be instructed to continue to prosecute in the Su- preme Judicial Court until such time as a final disposition has been made of the sewerage case; or take any other action in reference thereto.
Article 2. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the payment of unpaid bills of prior years, or take any other action in reference thereto.
Article 3. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to reimburse Anthony Veader for services rendered in issuing permits for the digging of clams, or take any other action in reference thereto.
You are directed to serve this warrant by posting a copy thereof, attested by you in writing, in each of two public places in each voting precinct in said Town, seven days at least before the time for holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not, make due return of this warrant with your doings to the Town Clerk of said Town on or before the ninth day of May, 1932.
Given under our hands at Weymouth this twenty-eighth day of April, in the year of our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Thirty-two.

Pursuant to the within warrant I have this day notified and warned the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid to meet at the respective place and time as set forth in said warrant by posting true and attested copies of the same in two public places in each voting precinct in said town seven days before the time of holding said meting.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING May 17, 1932
Pursuant to the within warrant a special meeting of the in- habitants of the Town of Weymouth, represented by its duly elected and qualified Town Meeting Members, was held at the hall of the Weymouth High School, on Middle Street, East Weymouth, Tuesday, the seventeenth day of May, A. D. 1932. The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P. M. by George L. Barnes, Annual Moderator, who requested the Town Clerk to read the warrant for the meeting, after reading the call for said meeting, it was voted on motion of Melville F. Cate, that the reading of the articles in the warrant be dispensed with. The Town Clerk then read the last three paragraphs of the warrant and the attestation of the constable who served the warrant.
