Gentlemen:
I wish to acknowledge receipt of advice that the governing body of your municipality has taken the necessary action under the Housing and Rent Act of 1947, as amended, to continue Federal rent control after Sep- tember 30, 1952.
We have examined the material submitted and find that the action taken is in accordance with the provisions of the Housing and Rent Act of 1947, as amended, and Federal rent control has, therefore, continued in effect in your community after September 30, 1952.
