The Water Commissioners herewith submit their forty- seventh report.
Pumping Station .
The usual small repairs have been made at the Pump- ing Station, in order to keep the equipment in good work- ing condition. On account of the unreliability and delays in repairs on a single Chlorinator, another one was purchas- ed, thereby giving us a dual system of chlorination.

REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT
-
Joint Board of Water Commissioners of Abington and Rockland.
Gentlemen:
I herewith submit my report as Superintendent for the year ending Dec. 31, 1932.
I would recommend during the coming year, that the house and coal shed be painted, the work of cleaning the shores of the pond should be continued, and the brush along our pipe line should be cut; that is where our pipe comes through the swamp, at the rear of the Hanson Fire Dept. buildings, at the present time should a break occur in the main, the department would be working under difficult conditions. Some action must be taken as soon as possible on the removal of the boat house on the shore of Big Sandy Pond. Conditions should be remedied near the Cranberry. Bog. The cottage owners with few exceptions have tried to keep the property around their cottages in good condition.
The usual analysis of water from Big Sandy Pond has been made by the State Board of Health. All hydrants were painted and tested during the year. The financial account of the joint works will be found under the report

FIFTY-NINTH ANNUAL REPORT
of the Water Registrar. Four Services were renewed from the main to the street box, and two leaks were repaired, one in the gate on the lawn at Pumping Station, and one in main near Wilkey's Store.
Respectfully submitted,
E. L. GAMMON,
Superintendent
