WM. P. & A. H. HOOD, INSURANCE AGENTS

SOMERSET, MASS.

WE REPRESENT THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES. Holyoke of Salem, Quincy of Quincy, Traders & Mechanics of Lowell, Citizens of Boston, Dorchester of Boston, Abington of Ab- ington, City of London, England, Metropole of Paris, France.

These Companies are all first-class. reliable and well managed. The Holyoke, established in 1843, is the strongest Mutual Company in Mass.

Note the following comparison, from Ins. Commissioners Report 1882.

HOLYOKE

. Surplus over Amount at Surplus per $ 1000 at risk Income. Expenditures : Difference.

all liabilities. risk ..

$431,881.42 19,679,221 21.90 110,602.83 75,923.26 34,679.57 Gain HINGHAM. $144,351.39 21,263,536 6.79 70,416.76 72,827.31 · 2,410.55 Loss

The Holyoke has never made an assessment, paysa bet- ter dividend than the Hingham, and adjusts its losses promptly. Its rates are uniform, its risks are scattered and there is No CHARGE FOR THE POLICY.

The Quincy is an old and safe Company and has an ex- cellent-reputation for fair dealing. Its surplus is $271,819, its dividend is larger than the Hingham's, its deposit rate smaller. The policies in the above Companies are the Mass. Stand- ard, binding the Company for the full value insured, no 3-4 clause.
