REPORT OF THE SELECTMEN
We respectfully report that we have carried out the vote of the town to the best of our ability in the various departments in our charge.
The Lowell road has been improved so far as the amount appropriated for this purpose and the amounts contributed by the county commissioners and highway commissioners would allow. We recommend that the town appropriate $1,000.00, to be used in continuing this work the current year. The highway commission and county commissioners have already expressed willingness to contribute each a like amount.
NICHOLAS SAMSEL, EDWARD Z. STANLEY, CHARLES J. HOLTON.

The elm trees were not sprayed this year. Some of the trees were badly stripped by the elm beetle and we should not let this happen again.
I would recommend the raising of $400.00 for this department.
