I present herewith for your consideration for suppressing the Gypsy Moth.
We will need a small appropriation to do the work as the State Board requires. We find the north part of the Town infested quite badly and scattered in dangerous locations where there is great danger of spreading into our forests, We are expected by the State to put forth every possible method to exterminate them. At present the principal Gypsy Moth infestations are in the residential section, partic- ularly in orchards.
The elm leaf beetle is something out of date: 80 per cent. of the Brown Tail Moths winter killed in the nests as re- ported by State Board. Let us hope for 20 per cent. more of winter.
I recommend the sum of $125.00 for the year of 1907.
Yours respectfully, E. H. MURDOCK, Trce Warden.

REPORT OF PARK COMMISSIONERS.
To the Voters of Carver :-
Last year you appropriated a sum of money for the purchase of a grove for a public park.
We have selected and had surveyed the pine grove which has been used in the past by the Old Home Committee, sit- uated near the Baptist Church and contains about nine acres.
-- 54-
This lot if properly trimmed and thinned out will make an excellent park.
We would like to purchase the grove this spring and get in good condition before Old Home Day.
To do this will require an additional appropriation.
FRANK E. BARROWS, Chairman of Park Commission.
