REPORT OF PARK COMMISSIONERS.
At the March town meeting you voted that the park com- missioners be instructed to bring Carver Green legally under the system of the park system of Carver. This matter has been attended to without any expense to the town.
As we are not allowed to overdraw our accounts we did not feel that we should go ahead with the work of putting the Green in proper condition, purchasing a new topmast and cross-trees for the flagpole and erecting the same without be- ing sure of money enough to complete the work and attend to any other park expense that might arise.
Arrangements have been made so that this work can be be- gun at once.

REPORT OF GYPSY MOTH SUPERINTENDENT.
In regard to the gypsy moth, I can say that we have held them in most of the colonies and in some places have gained.
In scouting the orchards last October we found a number of new orchards infested but only a few egg clusters in each. Our worst infested woods are on Plymouth street. We have cut and burned all of the dead wood; also given it a thorough creosoting in hopes to hold them next summer.
HERBERT F. ATWOOD,
Gypsy Moth Superintendent.
