'T'he Selectmen and Finance Committee recommend flat appropriations for all current expenses and sufficient su- pervision of all orders and accounts, by the Town Officers, to insure against overdrafts from any cause whatsoever, in order that we may meet the requirements of the State Bureau of Accounts. An effort in that direction has been made in tabulating the above as may be seen by careful examination of those parts which relate respectively to Schools and the Gypsy Moth; and which in case of the Schools, accounts for about three thousand dollars of the apparent large increase in the recommendation to meet the expenses of that Department, as it includes the amount expected from the State and other sources. The increase in the Moth recommendation is for the same reason.
