2800ft. of East Head Road was covered with a tache surface of tar.
1,000ft. of Mayflower Road was gravelled and sur- faced with tar.
11,000 gals. of tar were used in treating surfaced roads.
Two miles of Tremont St., High St., one-half of Plympton St., and part of Meadow St., were treated with asphalt.
A non-skid surface was applied to 2,000 ft. of Wen- ham St. and 500 ft. of Plymouth St.

The remainder of this appropriation was spent for general maintenance.
