REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES OF THE CALEB CHASE FUND.


We, the undersigned, beg to report that we have renewed the transaction of last year, having loaned to the town the $10,000, called the Chase Fund, for the period of another year taking the town's note therefor, which note matures February 13th, 1912. Since our report of 1910 we have received the sum of $400 interest, which has been paid over to the Overseers of the Poor, as per vote of the town.

Record of Annual Town Meeting, February 6, 1911.


Article 1. 129 votes cast for Moderator. Ralph W. Doane received 83, Charles E. Hamer 46. Ralph W. Doane declared elected and duly sworn.


Article 2. Motion of Charles E. Lothrop to pay Collec- tor 2%. Amendment by Samuel Small to pay 11/2%. Amendment lost. Voted to pay Collector 2%.


Article 3. The following Tellers being duly sworn, Her- bert E. Berry, George Banspach, Henry M. Small, Alton A. Bearse, William A. Eldredge, Anthony E. Crowell and Ben- jamin D. Phillips, the ballot box duly examined and found empty and put in charge of B. D. Phillips, voting commenced at 9.50 A. M.


Motion of Albert D. Long that when meeting adjourned it do so until 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. Voted.


The polls closed at 2.30 P. M. The check lists and the number of ballots being compared were found to agree with each other and also the index on the ballot box, and 399 ballots were declared cast.
