Report of Annual Town Meeting, Monday, February 5, 1917.


Article 1. On motion, voted that Clarkson P. Bearse cast one ballot for Charles E. Hamer for Moderator and he was declared elected and duly sworn.

Article 2. Motion, George Banspach, pay 2%. Amend- ment by Joseph N. Atkins, 11/2%. Amendment lost. Voted to pay 2%.


Article 3. The following Tellers were duly sworn : Frank L. Hubbard, Horace K. Hentz, Shepard A. Raymond, Joseph Nickerson, Levi Snow and Jairus H. Allen. The ballot box being examined and found empty was put in charge of Levi Snow and voting commenced at 9 o'clock.


On motion, Charles H. Hammond voted that when this meeting adjourn it do so to 9 o'clock a. m. Tuesday
