ART. 8. To see if the town will authorize their Treasurer, under the direction of the Selectmen, to hire money in antici- pation of the taxes of the present municipal year.


ART. 9. To see if the Town will employ night watchmen the ensuing year, and how much money they will raise for the purpose.

ART. 48. To see how much money the Town will raise and appropriate to widen the street and make a sidewalk on Charles street, from Main to Pearl streets, or what they will do in relation thereto.


ART. 49. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate five hundred dollars to buy crushed stone for the streets, or what they will do in relation thereto.


ART. 50. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate fifty dollars for the care of the Town Clock on the Old South Church.


ART. 51. To see if the town will accept the provisions of Chapter 386, Acts of 1890, in relation to the Australian ballot system for election of municipal officers, and determine what officers they will vote for under said system.

R. station, or what they will do in relation thereto.


ART. 53. To see if the Town will instruct the proper officers to lay out and make a sidewalk on the southerly side of Woburn street from West street to the residence of Needham Nichols, or what they will do in relation thereto.


ART. 54. To see if the Town will lay concrete walk with edgestones from E. F. Parker's on Salem street to Pleasant

street, through Harnden street, or what they will do in rela- tion thereto.


ART. 55. To see if the Town will lay concrete walks with edgestones on Salem street, from Hill's Brush Factory to Main street at T. B. Pratt's, or what they will do in relation thereto.


ART. 56. - To hear and act on the report of the Road Com- missioners on widening and grading Elliott street, and deter- mine if the Town will raise and appropriate four hundred and fifty dollars for the purpose.


ART. 57. To hear and act on the report of the Road Com- missioners on laying out and building Winthrop avenue, and to determine if the Town will raise and appropriate two hundred dollars for the purpose.


ART. 58. To hear and act on the report of the Road Com- missioners on widening Hopkins street, and raise and appro- priate three hundred dollars for the same.


ART. 59. To hear and act on the report of the Road Com- missioners in relation to guide-posts.


ART. 60. To see if the Town will revise and accept the list of names for Jurors as prepared and posted by the Selectmen.


Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at or before the time appointed for said meeting.
