October ye 13th 1778 Elizabeth Jewell threw herselfe upon the Town for maintainance November ye 23rd 1778 Moses Jewell Engaged to pay all the Cost the Town had been at in the support of the said Elisabeth in her life time and for her funeral Charges and the Selectmen gave him orders to take her things that she left to Enable him to fullfil his Engagements
