Miss I. NEMETTY'S

SCHOOL FOR YOUNG LADIES,

No. 92 McCulloh Street.

Miss Nemetty will teach French, German and Italian on a new system, invented by her, which has been approved and adopted by the Univer- sity of Edinburgh in 1869.

This new method has the power of fixing in the memory of the pupil, by one and the same act, the words of the language and the dry rules of its Grammar, so as to dispense with the formal study of either. The Pupil learns to read, write, translate and speak grammati- cally with the greatest ease. Ile acquires a knowledge of the most difficult declensions of the German language, without having been conscious of learning them. Instead of time being required for preparing the lesson, prepa- ration is unnecessary, and it has frequently been shown that an intelligent pupil of about fifteen years of age, can, by the application of this system, write and speak fluently forty useful sentences after the first lesson.

These results have been personally witnessed by the Head Commissioner in the Baltimore City College, Prof. Carey's School, Col. John- ston's Pen Lucy School, and by Wm. Geo. Read, Esq., and others.

Private classes can be arranged.
