BUICK AUTOMOBILES

A TTAINED their superiority by reason of true merit, and they maintain this superiority through a continuance of this merit, coupled with the adoption of all the latest improvements and a constant striving toward excellence and "up-to-dateness". THE BUICK winnings in the auto contests this year have been made with ordinary "stock" machines, such as every purchaser gets, and not with some specially built machine made for the purpose. This is a point well worth considering. Note the individuals who have tried other makes, thrown them aside, and then became perfectly satisfied in the possession of a Buick. As the season of 1909 has seen the Buick better than in previous years, so will the season of 1910, and all succeeding seasons, see the Buick still further improved. We invite your inspection.

GAULARD51962

HE recently imported French Percheron Stallion, is T to be found every breeding day of the year at the farm of C. H. Hagelshaw, three-fourths of a mile north of Union City, and the careful attention of those interested in fine horses is called to this magnificent specimen of his family.

GAULARD was bred by M. Goupil, of Commune of St. Bomert, France, and was foaled April 8, 1906. His sire is Turco 55333, his dam being La Roche 37371, thus descending from some of the best Percherons in France. He was imported to this country in November, 1908. Although only three years old, he weighs, when in condition, 1900 pounds. He is of fine form and color, and his get will be large, servicable horses.

The tendency of the times is toward heavier horses for farm and other purposes. The importation of Gaulard is in this direction, and no better specimen of the Percheron is to be found.

Terms, $15.00 to insure a standing colt.

C. H. HAGELSHAW, Owner

OUR OWN LAMBS

The Lamb Knit Goods Co. COLON, MICH.

THOMAS J. HILL, Superintendent .

THE merchant will keep in mind that in a late decision of our Supreme Court, T

they say that we are the original and only Lamb Company, prohibiting by injunction the use of the word "Lamb" as a corporation, either orally, written or printed; therefore a representation of a dealer handling other than our goods, that they are made by a "Lamb" company, would make him liable.

Imitations of our goods are now and then thrust upon the market, calling them "Lamb Knit," "Knit on Lamb Machines," etc., etc., thereby trying to evade, to a great extent, the injunction of our Supreme Court.
