The foregoing appropriations were made at the annual town meeting, March 12, 1893.
The town school district voted to raise the sum of two hundred and twenty-five dollars at their annual school meet- ing, towards paying the school-house debt of said district. At the time of the annual town meeting it was expected that school district No. 1, at the annual meeting, would vote to raise an additional sum for the support of schools as in pre- vious years, but the town became a city before the date set for said meeting.
