Methodist

Episcopal Church

Pleasantville, N. J.

1906

Rev. H. F. PARKER, Pastor

Salutatory

This little Directory is presented by the Pastor to the members and probationers, as well as the friends, of Salem Methodist Episcopal Church, as a souvenir and reference book, showing the names of all church officers, societies, committees, etc., as well as the members and probationers at beginning of July, 1906.

It is hoped that this little souvenir may not only serve as a book of reference, but also as a daily reminder of the church you love, and that it may prove to be a bond uniting the old and new members more closely to each other in the love of Christ.

Special thanks are due to the business people, whose advertisements and support have made it possible to produce this booklet without any cost to the church.

Strangers, who may receive this Directory are cordially welcomed at the church.

During the past 26 years, since the church was built several improve- ments were made in the church edifice, adding to its value as well as to its appearance.

The church membership has continually increased. Successful revival meetings were held at various periods.

During the year 1906 a gracious revival took place in the church resulting in the conversion of 150 souls, many of whom united with the various churches round about. The Salem charge has a convenient parsonage and a church property in excellent condition.
