Parcels


Rates and conditions vary to different countries ; call at Post Office. AIDS TO PROPER MAILING


Write name and address plainly and completely. Place name and address of sender of all matters.


Prepay postage fully on all letters and parcels.


Use street and number in return address on your envelope and alsó letter heads.


Always address mail for city dellvery to street and number, and request correspondenta to do likewise.


Use designation North or South, West or East when it is a proper part of the address and save delay in delivery. Insure valuable parcels. Wrap parcel post carefully in beavy paper, and tie knots securely. Do not use cards or envelopes smaller than a Government Postal . Card.


Avoid the use of the word "City" as a part of the address. It may result in delay.


Avoid abbreviation of state names: Pa., Va., and La., frequently look very much alike wben written. It is difficult to distinguish be- tween Me., Mo., Md., and Ind., or Cal., and Col. The abbreviation recommended for Colorado is Colo., and for California is Calif.
