HE HARTFORD LIFE & ANNUITY INSURANCE COMPANY was established in 1879, by the most ex- perienced insurance men of Hartford, Conn., who had been all their lives engaged in the old style of Life Insurance. They conceived the plan of insuring for the lowest possible premium and assessments that would guarantee perfect respon- sibility. The success of their plan was demonstrated by the cost of one policy held in Utica, taken on January 28, 1880, on a person then 47 years of age. He has paid every assess- ment to May 1st, 1883, on policies of $5,000, amounting in all to $183.00, or $56.28 each year, or $11.26 on $1,000. . At a less age the cost would have been less.
--
--
---
-
That there is no cheaper insurance, the above statement will show ; that there is no more perfect system of securing the amount insured, is shown by the names .of its policy holders, among whom are officers of old style life insurance companies,
Leading Merchants, Bankers, . Lawyers
throughout the whole United States. In Utica and surround- ing country
POLICIES+ -
To the amount of over $500,000 --
have been taken since December 1, 1882, showing that life insurance, when cheap and secure, is always a good invest- ment.
If you are not insured and can afford to spare a small part l' - of your income, take a policy for the benefit of your family.
YOU CAN INSURE FOR ANY AMOUNT,
From $1,000 to $15,000,
at so small a figure yearly that you will not miss the amount it costs. Be sure and insure while your health is perfect. Don't wait until you are impaired.
