The Cutting Apparatus extends to the right, and excepting the top of the Reel is hidden by the team. The grain heads are conveyed to the Thresher on a moving "Draper," or Apron, similar to that used in the ordinary Binder. Weight, 12,000 pounds; width of cut, 18 to 24 feet ; crew, 4 to 5 men ; team, 26 to 32 horses; cuts, threshes, cleans and bags 25 to 45 acres per day. A season's run from 3, 000 to 3,900 acres. No rain falls during Harvest season.
