Forest City Bath Cur 9

31 & 33 Prospect St.,

Cleveland, Ohio.

THOS. J. KISNER, M. D., Physician. GRIFFIN & KISNER, - Proprietors.

The objects of this Bath Cure are Three-fold, viz :

1. The treatment and cure of the sick by the application of either or all of the various Baths, as may be indi- cated in each individual case.

2. To furnish pleasant and convenient bathing facilities to those who desire them for the Preservation of Health, Prevention of Disease, Beautifying the Skin, or as a Luxury.

3. To accomodate patients from a distance desiring a course of treatment, with a pleasant home, careful at- tention, &c.

This establishment, known for over twelve years as the Electro-Thermal Bath Cure, gained a wide reputation through the benefit conferred upon patients, and the restoration to health of

HUNDREDS OF CHRONIC INVALIDS,

who have taken treatment in it, has been recently remodeled, improved and enlarged, introducing many new and important features, making it complete in all of its arrangements.

THE CURE AND BATH DEPARTMENT.

The appliances for the treatment of disease are extensive and complete. They comprise the celebrated

Turkish Baths, Electro-Thermal Baths, Oriental Vapor Baths, Medicated Vapor. Fumigated, Cold, Warm and Shower Baths, and where Conditions exist requiring it a judicious course of Medical Treatment will be prescribed.

Particular attention is given to the successful treatment of CHRONIC DISEASES, viz: Rheumatism, Neural- gia, General Nervous Debility, Epilepsy, St. Vitus' Dance, Paralysis, Spinal Irritation, Shortened Muscles, Liver Complaints, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diseases of the Skin, Catarrh, Bronchitis, Consumption, Heart Diseases, Female Weakness, Leucorrhea, Prolapsus Uteri, Blood and Constitutional Affections, Diseases of the Sexual and Urinary Organs, &c., &c.

For the over-taxed, tired-out, worn-down, half-sick, wholly sick, diseased, suffering men and women, who need recuperation, who want health, long for it, are slowly dying for need of it, there is nothing in the whole world equal to a

COURSE OF THESE BATHS.

Electricity is recognized by the most intelligent physicians and scientists, both in this and European countries, to be one of the most POWERFUL, NATURAL AND EFFICIENT THERAPEUTICAL AGENTS known to the profession in the treatment of the great majority of derangements of the nervous and organic system. Having incomparably the best electrical apparatus in the world, applying electricity in

COMBINATION WITH HEAT AND WATER, We offer facilities for the employment of the Electro-Thermal Baths found in no other institition in America. THE BOARDING DEPARTMENT

Is complete in every respect. Open day and night to receive patients and boarders. The location is convenient of access from the railroad depot. Street cars pass near the house to all parts of the city, making it convenient for business men and others. The table is supplied with the best food the market affords, healthfully prepared, ample in quantity. TERMS REASONABLE.

THOS. J. KISNER, M. D.,

The attendant physician, has had a very extensive experience in the treatment of Chronic Diseases during the last twelve years. Patients calling for examination and prescriptions, and MEDICAL TREATMENT, are not generally detained over an hour. A letter enclosing stamp, addressed as above, 38 Public Square, will receive prompt attention. The Institute is furnished with intelligent and efficient assistants for treatment of both sexes.

ELECTRO-THERMAL BATH APPARATUS.

Being sole proprietors of the above patent for the United States, we are prepared to manufacture and furnish the apparatus, complete, with full instructions to use it. The construction of this apparatus is such, and the electrodes so arranged, that a current of electricity can be passed through the body in any direction, and to any organ in the body, and at the same time the body of the patient is left free and unconfined in its movements, and yet open to the simultaneous application of heated air, vapor or water.
