All that part of said city bounded by a line beginning at a point of intersection of Benefit street and Jenckes street; thence running in an easterly direction through said Jenckes street to Barnes street; thence continuing in an casterly direction through said Barnes street to Hope street; thence, in a southeasterly direction through said Hope street to Angell street; thence, in an easterly directlon through said Angell street, and continuing in a line in extension of said Angell street to the Seekonk River; thence, in a southwesteriy direction through said Seekonk River to the Providence River; thence, in a northwesterly direc- tlon through sald Providence River to a point on Me- morial square where said Memorial square bridges sald Providence river, at which point is erected the Monu- ment to the World War Veterans; thence, In an easteriy direction along a line in extension of Water- man street, and continuing in the same direction through said Waterman street to Benefit street; thence, in a northerly direction through said Benefit street to the polnt of beginning.
Second Ward. All that part of said city hounded by a line beginning at a point of intersection of Hope street and the city line; thence, running in an easterly direction along said city line to the harhor line of the Seekonk river; thence, in a southerly direc- tion along the harbor line of said Seekonk river to a point of intersection of a line in extension of Angell strect and the harbor line of said Seekonk rlver; thence, in a westerly direction along said line in extension of said Angell street, and continuing in a westerly direc- tion through said Angell street to Hope street; thence, in a northwesterly, northerly, and northeasterly dlrec- tion through said Hope street to the point of beginning.
