The Providence Post-Office is a Postal Savings De- pository. Deposits with the United States Government are absolutely safe. Withdrawals may be made at any time. Any person ten years old or over may open an account. Any number of dollars may be deposited, and at any time, until the balance to the credit of a depositor amounts to $2.500. Interest at the rate of 2 per cent a year is allowed

At least one rate (3 cents) must be prepaid to insure forwarding. Government pos- tal cards, United States, Cuba, Mexico, Canada and Republic of Panama, 1 cent. Post cards, private mall- ing cards, printed and prepared for mailing for the public, require 1 cent postage. Letters and postal cards can be forwarded from one post office to another without additional prepayment of postage. All other matter can be forwarded only by prepayment of addi- tional postage.
