Narragansett, Rhode Island, August 1st, A. D.1933.
We, the undersigned, Assessors of Taxes in and for the Town of Narragansett, Rhode Island, at the time of the assessment of Town Taxes of said Town for the year 1933, to wit, on the 15th day of June, A. D. 1933, at 12 o'clock Noon Eastern Standard Time, have assessed against every person in the Town, who, if regis- tered, would be qualified to vote, a tax of one dollar or so much thereof, as with his other taxes would amount to one dollar, and against every other person of the age of twenty-one years or over, who is not a citizen of the United States and who has had his or her residence in said town for six months next preceding such assessment.

Annual Town Meeting for the election of Town Officers-The First Monday in May, beginning at 10 o'clock A. M.
The Annual Town Meeting for the purpose of ordering a Town, School and Highway Tax-the second Monday in May, beginning at 10 o'clock A. M.
Regular Meeting of the Town Council and Court of Probate-The Third Monday of every month, beginning at 2 o'clock P. M.
Regular Quarterly Meetings of the School Committee-The Second Wednes- day in June, September, December and March.
VOTE ORDERING TAX MAY 8th, 1932
"RESOLVED: That the electors of the Town of Narragansett, qualified to vote on any proposition to impose a tax, in Town Meeting legally assembled on this 8th day of May, A. D. 1933, hereby order the assessment and collection of a tax on the ratable real estate and tangible personal property and ratable intangible personal property (the tax on ratable intangible property to be at the rate of forty cents on each one hundred dollars of the value thereof) in a sum not less than one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000.00) nor more than one hundred and forty thousand dollars ($140,000.00); said tax is for ordinary expenses and charges (and sinking funds) for the payment of interest and indebtedness in whole or in part of said town, for the payment of the town's proportion of the state tax and for other purposes authorized by law. The Board of Assessors shall assess and apportion said tax on the inhabitants and ratable property of said town as of the 15th day of June, A. D. 1933, at twelve o'clock noon, according to law (the date for assessment) and shall, on completion of said assessment, date, certify and sign the same and deliver to and deposit the same in the office of the town clerk, on or before the 10th day of August, A. D. 1933. The Town Clerk, on receipt of said assessment, shall forthwith make a copy of the same and deliver it to the town treasurer, who shall forthwith issue and affix to said copy a warrant under his hand, directed to the Collector of Taxes of said Town, commanding him to proceed and collect said tax of the persons and estates liable therefor. Said tax shall be due and payable on and between the 15th day of August next and the first day of November, A. D. 1933, next, and all taxes remaining unpaid on said November 1st, A. D. 1933, shall carry until collected a penalty at the rate of 6 per centum per annum upon such unpaid tax."
